First let me explain that we have stayed in hotels all over the world and this is the first time I have felt the need to take to this forum to express our views. We booked the Hotel Edison for my son's 21st birthday on personal recommendation by our local travel agent. Based on the photographs we saw on Triumph Hotels website of the classic rooms, we paid $1933 to the Edison for 8 nights for 3 adults sharing room only, + $200 resort fees. So far a terrible experience and we have not even arrived yet, trying to cash in on Thomas cooks demise by cancelling reservations and trying to charge 50+% more for the same booking..............

Worst hotel I ever stayed at. Rooms are very old and tiny Look nothing like the advertisement pictures. Bathroom is so small, toilet shower, sink are almost touching each other. Good chance to trip getting out of toilet. Ice machine broke. ATM broke in lobby. Trying to call front desk, line always busy. Any positive recommendation is fake. Do not stay there!

The fact that this place is supposed to be a “luxury” hotel is a joke. If this is what they consider luxury they need to check a dictionary. The rooms are the oldest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The flooring is old and coming apart next to the wall. The first room we stayed in looked as though there was mildew on the ceiling. There was a hole in the bathroom door as well. Acabamos de volver , estuvimos alojados durante siete noches. Habitación poco iluminada, desde la ventana apenas se veía la luz del día, las vistas... sólo paredes. El aire acondicionado en la habitación muy ruidoso, y el ruido que entraba del exterior...peor aún. El cuarto de aseo pequeño y olía mal. A favor, la ubicación y la amabilidad del personal

The only reason why this place is even getting 2 stars is because the room was clean and the location was great. I don't even know where to start. First off, if you smoke, MAKE SURE YOU GO OUTSIDE AND SPRAY YOURSELF BEFORE COMING IN. I only emphasize on that bc when my husband and I went, we hot boxed in our car, parked and went back inside. Everything was fine for a while. (TMI in the next line.) It was late at night around 11, maybe an hour after we came back up, we went and had some adult play time. I arrived late to the hotel at 6pm. When I finally got checked in and received the room key, only to found out the room had not been cleaned. I understand mistakes can happen but at 6pm and the room was not cleaned? I then had to go back downstairs to let the front desk know so I can get another room. At this time, I am already late to my event. By the time, I got a clean room, it was after 7pm, and the event started at 6:30pm. When I complained to the manager (Jenny), it was no big deal to her. I have been waiting for my refund for more than a month and after calling many times, sending several emails, no answer or even an acknowledgement of receipt! A shame!!!
