the hotel overcharged me and is now ignoring my phone calls and emails. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!! Will NEVER stay there again

Awful hotel. Horrible rooms. Rude staff. Noise from the ball room is awful. Every night until past 11pm you have horrible vibrating sounds coming from the window in your room. Loud enough that ear plugs and 3 pillows over your head doesn’t drown out the sound. They refuse to move you because there isn’t actually a problem with your room.. basically just tell you to get on with it. Even after coming up to the room to hear the whole room vibrate and how loud it is... they still won’t move you. $30 charge per night tax fees ... read more

I stayed at Hotel Edison 11/08/2019 to 11/11/2019 and was charged for my stay in the amount of 821.16 on 11/12/2019. There were no issues with this payment, it was taken from my account with money left over. Fast forward two weeks I had a charge for 100.00 and 10.00 taken on the same day. I called and they said that debit cards weren’t processing that weekend correctly and that if I showed proof that I had paid the 821.16 then my account would be credited the two charges (100.00, and 10.00). This hotel has a beautiful lobby. The most rude desk staff ever imaginable!!!!! Horrible rooms. Resort fees with no choice but to pay when u get no use from even the WiFi. 2 more nights in this crap hole then home thank the Lord. #neveragain

I would recommend for location but rooms are very small and dated. there were sockets hanging out of wall and not fixed when reported . our room looked over a roof filled with rubbish. the pipes for heating etc banged all night. like I say great location but hotel not good and staff at reception were awful. I will return to New York but not edison

female reception staff we spoke 2 about our change of room was rude the 1st room we arrived at had one of the old rooms had dirty carpet and wallpaper dampness complained to management who told us could not move us 2 next morning room above 7th floor was slightly better but still not acceptable booked this a year ago and was 4 a special birthday was told would have 2 pay extra for refurbished room travel agents had emailed about getting upper room sorry will not be back 2 this hotel

So disappointed in what used to be my favorite hotel. Our “refurbished” looks like something out of a horror movie. The hotel management offered to leave us in the room and move us tomorrow night. Unacceptable! Now they are moving to a similar room.. just as run down and tiny as the last one.. 2 nights like this?? Looking for another hotel now. I’m just so disappointed in the management and the total lack customer service.

We booked the Hotel Edison through Expedia for a family trip to NYC on 10/10/2019 for 5 days - the remodeled king bed suite with a balcony that has Times Square views. When we landed, it was cold outside, and the rooms were freezing. We tried to turn on the heat but only cold air was blowing. Also, the balcony door wouldn't close totally so cold air was coming from the outside as well.
