We had two rooms. Both were full price and stuck amidst the floor's construction. One room was even behind the elevator banks so we got to hear the elevator creaks all night long. It was a last minute trip and booking so shame on us, but we will never stay with Triumph brand again.
Hard beds, noisy walls and pipes, and very small! Rooms need upgrading badly... they don't look as nice as the pictures!
NOT very clean, seems very used - need realy to be upgraded.
Room not guaranteed at promised check-in time. When we got there, told by concierge that if I paid an extra $310 I'd get a "much nicer room." I already paid $800+ for three nights. He said there is no wifi and all amenities would be extra (maybe to scare us?). When we wouldn't agree to the extra cost, he said, "Ok how about $200?" So is pricing arbitrary here? We stayed here beginning of last week for three nights... check in was awful as we had to wait for a room to become available and wasn't even informed when it was ready so had to queue again for ages! Room was ok... bed was nice but bathroom a bit small!! The best thing about the hotel is its location right off of times square.
Very disappointed by the treatment from your staff. We had attended NYC Comic-Con and my girlfriend was in costume and we were treated like criminals by your lobby staff. Extra identification and grilling, disdainful looks (literally) over the top of the front desk clerks glasses, extra scrutiny by the lobby elevator operator before we could even go up to our rooms. Very, very disappointed by the blatant discrimination.
Rude and very unhelpful staff! Had to constantly call the manager for EVERYTHING! Wouldn't let me check in after my friend called to make sure that I could check in under her name! They made the mistake and made no effort to try to fix the situation or offer to help in any way!!!!
It's 2016 and not only do they charge for Wi-Fi but they charge per device. I wouldn't come back just because of that
