This was my first experience having accounts in a credit union. It was great for a while, until I needed customer service. Never again! I have been nickel and dimed excessively with fees that were greater than the previous large institution I banked with in the past. Between the excessive wait times at branch locations, and excessive hold times with customer service, this has to be the most inconvenient bank service experience I've ever had. I would not recommend Florida credit union.
I currently bank here. This is the most inconvenient financial institution I've ever given money to. You would think because they have limited locations they expand their online or atm capabilities... Nope... If you work a traditional 9-5, RUN! � especially if it's not near a branch. Loan officers available 24 hrs but no one to handle account issues. Info 24 is a joke. It's an automated system that literally hangs up on you regardless of your selection. Forget ever being able to talk to a representative. They took me to court overy something I tried to handle with them several times. Here we are a year later and I'm still having problems.WORST CREDIT UNION.
This bank steals your money!!! They put transactions on hold then wait till your past that amount so they can put it through and charge you and over draft fee!! Then when you call about it you get hung up on and told there's nothing we can do about it!! Taking our business somewhere else and if you like your money you should too!!!

Online app only and rep who I spoke to over phone admitted the application is not intuitive and does not ask for appropriate information. Deland branch didn't hand me back my Florida Drivers Licence at their drive thru. I was upset long after wondering who had it as I applied for many jobs that required a photo copy of it, wondering if it had fallen into criminal hands. Six months later a female employee saw me at the branch and handed it back and that wouldn't of happened if I wouldn't have went to the teller for the second time that day!!!! She said they can't mail notices to loyal customers that they accidentally didn't hand back their driver's licence. ... read more
Keep getting letters saying I'm delinquent on my car payment. I have emailed their customer service numerous times and they haven't done anything. I have an automatic payment setup with records of each payment. Get your accounting straight and fix this! Thanks
