Just a heads up, PLEASE check your sheets when you check into a hotel before getting in bed! The hotel at the Cleveland Clinic which has always been super convenient for my past appointments had BLOOD SPLATTERS, potato chip crumbs and MENS DIRTY UNDERWEAR in my bed! They didn’t even have a clean comforter to put on the bed! We got a thin blanket, and no apology even from the front desk! Came for a girls' weekend. Reserved a room with two Queen sized beds. Got a queen size bed and a cot and a chair for the same overcharged price. Went down to the hotel market for 2 bottled waters and a bag of chips and was charged $100 service fee. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL!!! WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
Ok so the hotel it self is nice clean rooms and well maintained. However they have absolutely no parking unless u pay $19 a day for 1 of only 15 parking spots. The next closest parking is 3 blocks away. Also no free breakfast you have to pay $13.50 for the buffet. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.
The customer service is terrible . I left a blue folder on the restaurant table .. camel back ... the staff remembered seeing it at restaurant .. hotel clerk Gelle called waited 30 minored .. they can’t find it .. we hag similar issue worn a package .. even the convenient shuffle will not make up for this
It’s convenient to be near the Cleveland Clinic that’s for sure. However, for the price, I won’t be staying here again. No free continental breakfast. Not many gluten free options. No movie rentals.
They lie to you about your rooms . They lie about having rooms available. The list goes on .
Spoiler Alert: save your time and money and stay somewhere else. Walked in the front door to a line that ran from the front desk to the far wall. My horrified look prompted a guest in line to confirm that everyone was waiting to check in and she had been in line for an hour. Checked in at 5, it’s 6:15 and we still have no room key per the rooms are being inspected to ensure they are clean. There are about 20 other guests also waiting in the lobby for their keys. I want to start this review by saying that Holiday Inn (Part of IHG) should be ashamed for price gouging and taking advantage of families with loved ones being treated at the Cleveland Clinic. The room rates for guests with loved ones being treated at the Cleveland Clinic were supposed to be discounted and we're actually higher than the what the hotel was charging online (Holiday Inn/IHG website).
