Commonwealth on East Paris in Grand Rapids is truly a wonderful facility. It is immaculately clean, has friendly and skilled staff and a great variety of resident activities. It has been life changing for my brother and I have not seen him so happy and engaged in years. My heartfelt thanks to all of you!
When it became clear that my mother-in-law needed assisted living, I was dreading the process. I had heard so many horror stories and was constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop. Unfortunately we had a poor experience with the administration at this location. Due to unforeseen circumstances , hospitalization and SARS, my mom never lived here. Communication was not good as we attempted to get some funds back after writing a check for $16, 000. It took several calls and emails with sometimes no response. When told we would get a partial refund within a month it took calls to corporate a couple times to actually get a check mailed .I know we signed a paper saying we would not get a $4,000 community fee ... read more
Our family gathered together yesterday to celebrate our loved one’s 87th birthday. We were given a lovely space in which we could gather together with ease and comfort as well as have assistance when needed. Thank you for helping us through the changing and challenging times.
