Very knowledgeable and helpful
As a family, we absolutely love Whispering Woods. It was so hard for us to find a place, it is not easy. My father is a current resident there, for the past 4 years. He is so very happy there and we are as well. The staff go above and beyond on a daily basis. They have a family dinner once a month with entertainment and great food...a bonus :)
We are very happy with Whispering Woods. The activities are great...and the food is delicious! The care staff are great and take very good care of mom.
My loved one has been at Whispering Woods for two months now. We are very pleased with Whispering Woods. I would recommend this community to anyone. The staff is very caring and accommodating to my mom's needs. The food is delicious and the activities are a huge plus. The room size is very comfortable and they did everything to make it feel like a "home". The management team has been very helpful in making this an easy transition for my family.
I let them know at Whispering Woods Retirement Village that she was a dementia person. She fell and needed her whole shoulder replaced. We have had to move her two different times. I wanted her somewhere with alarms on her wheelchair. She needed somewhere that had a hoyer lift for her to get out of her wheelchair. They put her in assisted living and now it's only been two months and they want to put her in the dementia unit. I just wish they would have realized that upfront and placed her there to begin with. My parents moved to an apartment in Whispering Woods two weeks ago, and it's going well. The food is very good, the staff is friendly and helpful, and their apartment is cozy and lovely. They enjoy their view of the pond and woods. My parents chose to live in a smaller community with fewer amenities and glad they chose Whispering Woods.
Great community! We are very pleased with everything at Whispering Woods. The staff is wonderful and take great care of my loved one. It is a very cozy environment and tucked back in it's own little village. We toured many places and I am so happy I chose Whispering Woods.
We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. Whispering Woods seemed like a nice place, overall. The staff we met were friendly, and the facility seemed well kept and clean. It's worth a look if you're searching for care in the area.
We are pretty happy so far. We had one concern about a staffing shortage, but they are getting a new employee, so that seems to be being addressed. The people I spoke to when I was first choosing, I clicked with them, and that's one of the reasons we chose here. I also liked that they had the Montessori memory program, and it was just a nice place.
