We enjoyed our stay at the Gershwin at the beginning of Dec 2014 although it was going through a renovation it did not spoil our stay in anyway. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location is excellent and easy enough to navigate yourself around the city from there without getting lost on return, we used the Empire state building as our navigation point. The deli around the corner is excellent for breakfasts and sandwiches for lunch should you need, food to die for infact. hope you have an excellent stay at the Gers... read more

Un joli petit hôtel au style art déco à deux pas du métro et de Flatiron building malheureusement les chambres sont exiguës et très bruyantes ( bruit de la Clim extérieure non stop). La notre donnait sur un mur de briques. Le personnel est relativement sympathique

Me parece horrible que los pasajeros tengan que desayunar en el hall a vista de cualquier otro pasajero, sin ninguna intimidad. Las horribles vistas de las habitaciones y el ruido insoportable de los motores ventilafores de la calefacción que impiden conciliar el sueño. Nada recomendable.

Totally disappointed! They are going a renovation, everything is cover with plastics, dust and dirty. There’s no lobby, no restaurant, no breakfast. Just one lift in the middle of plastic and dust. We made a reservation in January 2018 for April 2018 through Booking and they never informed us about what was going on. It was a completely disappoint surprise , when we arrived and saw that mess. They didn’t apologize properly and haven’t been honest or transparent. In the end we cancel the reservation and find had to find anoth... read more
