2012 The Gershwin and 2015 The Evelyn... The style has definitely changed... I liked it both times very much and am sure to stay there again when I'll be back to NYC one day.
We stayed at the Evelyn for 4 nights last week and we enjoyed every minutes of it.... a couple of hickups but nothing to write home about..... the service was excellent. ... good coffee.... good pastries... a bit noisy in rooms facing the street but did not prevent us to sleep... stayed at the hotel when it was the Gershwin .. had a good experience too.... biggest pet peeve...... elevator EXTREMELY SLOW ...should look to improve as soon as possible. ... we will certainly come back on our next visit ..... thanks to all the st... read more
My family and I stayed there about 2 months ago and we had the best time. We met the new manager, a very charming and eloquent man who personally helped us with our luggage and took the time to chat and discuss the best places to visit in NY. The personnel is very nice and the French pastries for breakfast were just as delicious as in France (I would know I'm from France).
Super Hotel. Very friendly staff. Fine room en bed and bath! Good service!
