We chose Commonwealth Senior Living because I was looking for a facility that was close by, the value for the money here was the best that we were able to find, and I had a number of people I knew who had either stayed there or were there currently and I was able to get feedback form them. I thought that the staff that I interviewed with did a really nice job and were very proactive in trying to help me. She had a private room and it was fine for what she needed. I would recommend to others who are looking.
Nice physical plant that is apparently well taken care of. The lounge and dinning are large and cozy! [name removed] took me on a brief tour. The private rooms are spacious and handicapped friendly as they have a creative Activity Director. On the down side, they have an up front fee of $2500 they claim is used to refits the room before occupancy. Cost is moderate. No in-house physician is a bummer! But overall, this is a possible!
Was very impressed with tour and facility. Nice rooms, amenities and staff seemed very capable and competent. Tina did a great job of showing the property and the amenities. Facility is very high on consideration list based on this virtual tour.
Appealing outdoor areas, and a bright and well-lit interior. When we entered, we saw an activity underway in a dining area, and when we toured the Memory Care unit we again saw an activity underway. The activity schedule looked good, as did the menu. Staff seemed very professional. Facility was very clean, with no odors. Generous-sized rooms. Definite possibility.
My loved one is doing very well here! The staff are very caring and attentive, and they do a very good job at taking care of my loved one's needs and requests. The size of the facility is also just right for my loved one. The whole family was very impressed with this facility!
My mother-in-law moved here. As far as we can tell they are very attentive to her needs. They invite her to do crafts which is something she was good at when she was younger. Her hearing has declined in recent years so it's difficult for her to do things so she stays in her room for the most part. Anything we've asked of them they have accommodated us.We have seen the food, she says she doesn't like it but it looks pretty good. So far we would recommend them.
They offer daily activities and the staff are nice. Mom does complain about the food as it is not as good as her home cooking. The community is clean and well maintained. I would recommend this community if you have the money for it. I would also recommend checking out numerous communities before making a decision.
Everyone has been very helpful AND KIND.
Things are going okay. We have had a couple of incidents, but nothing too bad. She seems to be adjusting pretty well.
