We are very happy with it, they are very nice people. The only thing is the parking, if you go during the day parking is limited and it can be hard to park. The Value is very good! They were very reasonable compared to other places we saw. The food is good depending on personal taste and what the meal is that time.

The rooms appeared clean and organized and the residents content. this facility is nearest the VA Hospital and was one where the staff and administration were anxious to assist me. $ approx $3510/month with added cost related to laundry and cleaning. Less emphasis upon outside trips but was mentioned with option for outside transportation to medical.

My mother spent a couple of weeks in Commonwealth for re-hab after a surgery, and loved it. This is what caused us to consider assisted living for her.

My loved one was a resident at Commonwealth Senior Living at Hampton. I would not recommend this facility to others, our experience was not great. The staff is friendly, but they don't seem to follow through with what they say they will do.

We toured Commonwealth Senior Living at Hampton during our search for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. Our tour was terrible. The atmosphere, cleanliness, and our tour guide were okay.

I would want others to know that if your loved one has dementia and needs care such as bathing, changing diaper, guidance, you are screwed. He was here for 30 days and destroyed him, I got charged almost 20,000 dollars and I have not gotten a dime back. He had to go to the hospital due to the little care he received. They were not giving him any of his medications. They were not helpful at Commonwealth Senior Living at all.

The staff, except for a few, at CSL seem to genuinely care about the residents and their benefit. However, the staff needs to leave their cellphones at home or in the main office and pay more attention to the residents. There is too much noise and chatter coming from the nursing staff and medical management could be improved. Several times the staff failed to give my wife her prescribed antibiotics and heart medication. Be very careful ! You have to stay on top of the staff and make sure they are taking care of your loved ones. The staff gives the appearance they are attentive when you are there. You need to check on your loved one EVERYDAY to make sure they are properly cared for. There was food behind my loved ones bed, they give them medication to make them sleep ALL day. This will cause pressure sores. Do not take your loved ones to the facility

The front area, where you would walk in, was clean, but when we went to my dads room his room was not clean. There would be trash and needles for his insulin under the bed and on the floor in the corners. I even picked some up and showed the nurse and I asked her what they were doing there and she just said "Oh well, I'm sorry" and that was it.
