Our stay at this beautiful hotel was top notch! Perfectly clean rooms, very comfortable, and every single employee that we came across was incredible! Special shout out to Miss Mary and Kendrick at Wilford’s for cooking us a super delicious breakfast and they treated us like family! We most definitely recommend this hotel! 5 stars!!! I wouldn’t necessarily say this hotel is family friendly, but if you get to meet Mr. Bill, he will make your family feel right at home. He’s very friendly and quite the historian! We stopped here on our way back to Texas. The Watermark is a luxurious historical hotel with many great amenities! If you’re in the Baton Rouge area, you have to check in to this hotel!

Everyone here has been very accommodating. This is our 3rd time staying here and always been a pleasure.
We came to stay a night during COVID-19 virus time to get away from home and regroup. Most things that were normally open weren’t but the deli downstairs was and it was delicious. Everyone was friendly. Liked the robes in the room also!
The entire staff from the bellman, to the front desk girls, to the bartenders, the handsome waiters and chef’s ... everyone is gracious, professional and helpful, the epitome of southern hospitality. ... the historic hotel is gorgeous and has amazing food. Known for their duck, the pork chop and steak are amazing too as are the brussle sprouts.
