RecommendedA great hotel but not my favorite Intercontinental. They gave us the wrong room, even though we had booked directly with hotel and Asked for a double bed room for our children. The first night was so uncomfortable, they did move us the next day to the correct room. The pool area is just a one person very small lap pool. The lobby and fire pit area is great to relax and unwind. The views are great in the sunrise and sunset.
This was our first time spending Christmas away from home and we are so very glad that we chose The Clement! Each and every staff member was attentive, helpful and nice to us. When we checked in, we were given an upgrade to a Junior Suite, so roomy and beautiful, comfortable, then a very nice welcome gift. Christmas dinner was superb, we chose the dinner with wine pairing, excellent!!! I think that we've decided to make The Clement our home away from home every Christmas!
very very good service and Good sea view from the hotel ,Everything was comfortable to stay in the room exspecially restroom was big and so comfortable We like it more , Expensive but worth it !!!

The Intercontinental-The Clement Monterey is so special to us. It truly is an escape from the rush world. The staff is so personal and friendly. The restaurant's famous Calamari is to die for. It is garnished with Deep fried green beans and deep fried lemon wedges. The small pool and jacuzzi is always at a great temperature. We can't wait to go back.
from the start......great customer service.....we checked into our room 3 hours early.....room was clean.....great view.....my only complaint is that our gas fireplace didn't stay on longer.....but that's small potatoes......I will always look forward to staying at The Clement Monterey.....
