DO NOT STAY HERE! It is rundown, in poor repair, no working air conditioner or fan, doors that do not lock, stuffy and musty smelling, and the manager seems never to be around. The staff promises to fix things but never does, then will not give a discount when you leave. Stay anywhere else!

We have stayed on the Cottage side many times over the years and have loved it. But now, it's really running down so I can't recommend it anymore. Such an impressive property, it really needs someone to care about it and I think it could be easily remedied. Please!

I do not recommend this place anymore. We have been staying here for the last 20 years. The cottages need a major upgrade. Beds and furniture are old. Major structural problems in the bathroom. For breakfast they serve moldy Danish pastry. For what they charge to stay here, the accomodations should be a lot better. Thanks for ruining our get away.
Water heater went out at 9:30pm but the gentleman working at night at the front desk was extremely helpful- got me into another room quickly. When I asked if I could request a late check out (check out is 11am), he said he could only authorize 11:30 anything passed that I’d have to call in the morning. BUYER BEWARE. Disgusting hotel! Truly felt like I have been scammed. Especially for the price! We booked a Junior cottage for $366 first night and $429 second night before tax. We did not stay both nights. We got in really late our first night and we're exhausted and couldn't find anywhere near by available until the next day so sadly we had to stay in this health hazard of a hotel. STAY AWAY!!! I made a reservation for 7/27 & 7/28 while staying with my wife and kids. I was given Room 317, but I requested for a new room because the window next to the fireplace was unable to close due to bad dry rot. I then moved across the way to Room 312 and then noticed that the flooring on then second level as you walk up the steps was in bad shape and there was exposed aluminum. I’ll never stay here again
This is our fifth year that we came to this place. We like the location and the staff at the cottages. The people at the front desk could be more friendly. The people at the cottages are very friendly and polite. The breakfast(you order whatever is in the menu, which is very good -omelets, eggs, bacon, country potatoes etc.) and happy hour at the cottages are good too.
