I stayed here when I came out here for my family reunion. The room was beautiful and very clean. King size bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of. The staff was very nice and if I needed anything they got it to me fast. I looked out of my patio window and noticed a deer eating. Very quiet grounds. We could walk right down to the beach. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. We had a very enjoyable time here.
We came here right after our wedding for our first honeymoon night. It was beautiful! We just had a small room with the king size bed. We loved it! The front desk also helped us out with food ideas because we wanted delivery since we didn't want to get up and leave. They were super helpful and super friendly to us! I would recommend this place!
RecommendedThis was the perfect getaway for my husband and our dog. The cottage was very roomy, clean and just a few blocks to the beach and the lighthouse. We also enjoyed the free continental breakfast. Spanish omelette and country potato.:) We are definitely coming back. We were very impressed with the location.
RecommendedThis has become such a lovely hideaway and writing retreat for me. It is tucked away from the busyness of the area and offers the solitude I seek every few months. The cottages are always very nicely tended to and the grounds are gorgeous. The dining room is the best with the ambience of the fireplace and inviting sitting area. One of the worst lodging of experiences in my life. Three words describe my stay: Filthy, dirty, and disgusting. Me and my husband arrived for the second part of our honeymoon here and were pleasantly greeted by the front desk staff. However, the problems began after check-in. We were pleasantly upgraded to one of the biggest rooms on the property, which had its own kitchen and bedroom and dining area which made us both very happy. We are staying here now. Rooms are stuffy, no AC and we can't open the windows. Some don't even looked completely closed. When we called the front desk they said they knew about the windows, but I guess they didn't feel it was important enough to tell us when we were checking in. When we came back to the room we had bugs flying around. The Front desk said they come through the cracks. The area is nice and quiet, but definitely wasn't worth the money we paid. Booked two separate rooms for two nights each for myself and for a relative, well in advance of our travel dates at an expense of approximately $800 total. Upon check-in, we found the accommodations as expected and were satisfied. We awoke the next morning to a full blown pest infestation in our room..of ants. Thousands of them.
