RecommendedI am a Tour coach Driver. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels, as you can imagine. This Hotel was fabulous. It is nit the Ritz, Bellagio, or the Phoenician, but it is exactly it's own kind of ambiance! The suite had a 15ft cabin style ceiling, separate bathroom with a shower on one end, and bathtub on the other. Had a great time, manager Victor was awesome. He made our vacation there pleasurable and worth every penny. He turn what could have been a disaster and fixed it and made it right. Ty Victor!!! We will return again.
Wonderful hotel, perfectly located within walking distance to downtown Monterey, Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf. The rooms were clean and the double bed suite was very spacious. You have to request robes and they don't have slippers. The complimentary breakfast was pretty typical. Fruit, bagels, oatmeal, cereal. There's not room service but a convenience store is located on the next block. The staff is super friendly. The only flaw was the toilet paper. Like cardboard. Bring your own.

Lovely place in a great location. Our suite was roomy with a nice comfy couch in front of a gas fireplace. Fountains, courtyards, balconies and patios abound. Short walk to the pier and downtown. You know the place has to be great when front desk calls minutes after check in to see if you need anything. They delivered a second bar of soap and a shampoo tube within minutes after.
