RecommendedMy wife and I are surprising our youngest son a trip to NYC on Thanksgiving Day for his 12th birthday on the 26th. Staying at the Edison for 5 nights from a recommendation of friends. I have previously stayed at Marriott Marquis and The Dream downtown. I see mix reviews, but hopefully we will have a great experience like our friends have had.

RecommendedRead reviews on this hotel before we came and was expecting the worst if I’m honest. We arrived on Monday for 10 days, every member of staff we’ve seen or spoken to so far have been very polite. Our room is a classic room and it’s just the right size for the two of us. It feels really homely. Our heater stopped working tonight, we went down to reception the man at the desk was again very friendly and within 10 minutes our heater was working fine again. I have stayed in MANY hotels in NYC and this is the best! Come to NYC and be greeted by family who care about you.
