I have had great communication with individuals on the staff, particularly nursing and med techs. (Val, Blair & Amy) Alice at the front desk is always friendly and helpful. My brother-in-law has recently been diagnosed with early dementia at age 66. He is personally struggling and finds a lot to be agitated and complain about but I feel that he is being well cared for and they are trying to allow him to feel needed and not so helpless as compared to some other residents there. He has only been there about 8 weeks. I was expe... read more

1. Overall experience 4- first impression was mostly positive and that didn't change over time 2. Cleanliness 4- building always appeared clean and unpleasant odors were usually minimal 3. Friendliness 4- my first impression of staff friendliness might have been a 3 but in hindsight I think they were just extremely busy. As we became more familiar the staff were friendly and helpful. 4. Quality of care 3- this score is not a reflection of attitude of the caregivers but instead speaks to the number of staff per patient and pe... read more

We chose the facility based on a couple of factors. The first was location. But we were sold after we spoke with the administrator and the nurse who evaluated our loved one. They worked with our financial situation. Once there, they took good care of him and were good with communication. The only negative is the they "lost" some of his clothes. I also didn't like how much it cost for incontinence supplies. So, we chose to purchase those separately . I have recommended the facility to others.

Facility is newly renovated and very nice. Mom is very well cared for and I am notified immediately of any concerns the staff has. She participates in the activities and seems to enjoy the fellowship with others.

Minimal "issues" overall. Of course everyone/every place should never rest on their laurels. We are never perfect. So we should strive to always improve. I liked that they did Teepa Snow dementia training with staff! The management was very sensitive to our situation. And they were financially accommodating-working within our specific constraints. They continue to be good to work with!!

I was given a live video tour and could see the place in real time. They also offered monthly placement where some places wanted a yearly commitment. The price was reasonable.

The staff had a great turnover by the time we got to know them one week they were gone the next they didn't seem to try very hard to interact [name removed]with activities.I would tell a friend to definitely check around although a lot of the places we looked at weren't much better.

The staff (aides) are very friendly and knowledgeable. But they are generally slow in responding to the resident's pendant alert system, especially at night. I brought this to the attention of the director several times. Housekeeping was great. Communication with the family was good. The move in process was also good. Meals are of the highest quality and the menu is on a good rotation. The executive chef knows what he is doing. One area of improvement would be better supervision of the aides at night. Also, a more timely dis... read more
