RecommendedThis has been such a wonderful experience. Alyssa at the front desk was beyond fantastic. She was helpful beyond belief. Such a surprise to have a welcome card in the room, along with fresh water and a bowl ful of food for Bailey, our dog. Everyone was super friendly when we asked them for questions. The breakfast was delicious, just needs more available seating in the lounge area. It was a bit loud with road traffic and younger kids running during quiet time. RecommendedI am the GM of a Best Western in South Carolina visiting California for the first time. I must say, I was quite impressed by the BW in Monterey. The staff were polite and nicely dressed. The landscaping was very nice. The room was lovely. Fireplace, complimentary wine and chocolate which we did not indulge but it was very thoughtful and even a handwritten welcome note. You can't go wrong here.
RecommendedWe have enjoyed our multiple stays here, comfortable room, good breakfast plus wine and snacks in the afternoon. Great walking from here too
