Praise they say is an application for more. If I failed to accept you it would show how ungrateful I am. I could not be less grateful to the person God has used to bless me and my family in general. Well people are nice it's clean the food is okay not the best it does not have a jacuzzi so I would not consider this any close to a 5 star beach sucks food okay now my room is the worst room in the hotel for the money I spent so not worth it and the front desk are rude and not helpful the nicest area is the pool and garden for the money the charge here is not worth it just point blank spend you money on another resort this one is so not worth the money !!!!

I am SO disappointed in my last stay at Velas Vallarta. My family and I have stayed there every year for the past four years and never had an issue, until our last visit. There was an issue with our room keys and the lock on the door wasn’t working, so an employee came up to our room to fix it while we were there. It took about a half hour and the keys worked fine. Very disappointing, considering the rest of the Velas Resorts all the shampoo and other stuff is way below the usual standard, it doesn't even has a Gym (which I think is the very least you can expect of a supposed 5 stars hotel), the food and snacks are just ok, not great. The hotel Rooms look really old, and when you get a double bedroom you get twin beds, not even 2 full beds. Some of the rooms smell really bad and there constantly is bad smell coming out of the drain.
