RecommendedWe first experienced Velas 2 years ago when we came for 2 weeks. We just finished another week there and it was just as good, if not better, than the first time. I LOVE that you get to know some of the wait staff (Juan, Albierto, Oscar, Erick, and Adrian) and I appreciated them so much! They totally helped to make our experience there fantastic! The size of this resort was perfect for my 3 little boys. We have great memories!!

RecommendedI came here over 6 years ago and fell in love. We had a once in a lifetime opportunity to actually own a condo and jumped on board. This place is amazing the grounds staff and food is top notch. Cannot wait to retire and spend months at a time here. Its sad to read the reviews about stolen property. Our place was hit when my brother left his camera and laptop unsecured. We found out that a maintence guy followed one of the house keepers in. No bueno. We lock everything up that is of value.
