Great hotel, historic yet modern. The restaurant is top notch. Check out Abel in the bar, he's the life and soul of the lounge area and keeps the wine flowing from an incredible list of top wines.
Fabulous boutique hotel with tons of history and good rates in DC.
The Morrison Clark is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are spacious, wonderfully decorated and very clean. The location is convenient to the Walter Washington Convention Center and the Mt. Vernon/ 7th Metro stop. The restaurant serves a delicious breakfast. Best of all, the hotel staff treat us like we were their most important guests. They were friendly, accommodating and sincere. The best hotel stay we have had in a long time.
Lobby has nice bar with ample seating. Room was a little small but comfy. 2 side tables with drawers and a wardrobe that housed the safe and fridge. Large bed for just me with more pillows than I knew what to do with. The bathroom gave plenty of space in front of the sink and large mirror, but the lighting wasn't great in the shower. I had a little trouble with the remote and WiFi. Lastly with as hot as it was, I was thankful how well the thermostat worked.
I absolutely love this charming inn. Great location, friendly staff, nice dining room and most importantly to me, it is spotless. The rooms are small but lovely and clean. Confortable beds, high quality linens and pleasant decor. I stay here whenever I visit D.C. as it is has reasonable rates and I am a frequent visitor as my son lives here. Cannot say enough nice things about the Morrison Clark Inn. A real find in a very expensive and busy city.
