Check-in is 3pm. When we arrived after a show at 6pm, our room wasn't ready. Had to wait 45 minutes before we got the keys. The room (upgraded to "Deluxe") was very small. The advertised view of the city from our window was the building next door. The toilet sat inches from the sink. They do not offer a complimentary continental breakfast in the morning. This place is way overpriced. Never going here again, ever.
I've stayed 8 times before but when I tried to book a room for 18 nights I was refused. Told there is a 14 night maximum. Seems strange for a money making business to turn away customers for wanting to spend too much money there?
I can't speak to the hotel stay as my husband was the one who stayed there for work. When he was checking in they said they were charging the room to his card and he said it should already be paid for through my company. They looked it up and agreed it would be the usual $50 hold. It was actually a $304 'hold.' When he complained they told him They had no idea why they were holding the extra money but it should come off when he checks out. Didn't honor my paid for reservation, recommended sharing a room. WTF?
Bad Windows , cold draft and fire station around the corner , no chance for a good night sleep + bad wifi only
The stay was fine, pretty noisy but I guess it's NY. Also a suite doesn't really include two rooms as there's no door, so it's basically three beds in one. My complaint is that I've emailed the hotel and not had a response so thought I'd ask here. I've been charged twice for my stay here and would like the pending transactions refunded to me immediately. A stay that should have cost me £2,072 has actually cost £4,309 with only the £2,072 showing on my bank statement leaving me to wonder where the remain £2k plus has gone! Pl... read more
