check in was fine. bell hop was very helpful. We got to our room the door lock was broken and have to be fixed before we could even leave to ensure our stuff would be there on our return. The room was okay with 2 doubles in one room and a queen in the other. Enough blankets and pillows for our large family of 6. Bathroom was tiny but have plenty of towels. The shower pressure sucked and the shower had a very loud humming sound when used. Remotes didn't work for TV in one room. We booked at the last min and paid almost $500 f... read more
I had a reservation with a check in at 3pm. I arrived 1:30 at the hotel and the concierge told me that my room should be ready in 30-50 minutes. I returned 3:20 and it was not ready. Service terrible.
IMPORTANT NOTICE for all those wondering in spent your holidays in the BELLECLAIRE HOTEL: There is a Fire Station of the FDNY just in front of the Hotel, and every XX minutes they leave the place with their huge trucks with the loud sirens on. You will be so lucky if you dont ear 1 in a night.
