The Grand Velas is absolutely amazing. The staff was so awesome and nice. Pools are fantastic. Bars and restaurants are fabulous. And the views! The views are gorgeous.

The food, views and suites are all definitely worthy of the 5 star rating but the staff is what really makes this place stand out. Out of every resort I’ve ever been to, none were as hospitable, friendly and attentive as they are here. Luisa Ramirez of house keeping, Rodrigo our pool server and Carmen (I think) of activities who led water aerobics are a few names that come to mind. Well definitely be coming back!
