From what I have experienced this is a good place for your loved one. They are very caring and they know everyone by name in this community. There is plenty of food and activities for the residents to do.

I would recommend you look at the community, as it was a good fit for our loved one. It is a warm, loving, and caring, community. I believe my loved one could be showered more often than they are currently.

I think the community does very well. The community isn't too big. The staff are great. There are activities available all day for the residents. They have a big movie room, and they take residents out on trips around town as some example for activities. The living quarters have a full kitchen in the apartments.

I was impressed with Commonwealth during my visit. Although not as impressive from the outside as some other places I’ve visited, the inside was very nice. My tour guide knew everyone by name and seemed genuinely caring. Breakfast and dinner is included six days a week and brunch on Sunday for independent living. The apartments were very nice. Lots of closet space and outlets. It is smaller than some places which makes it very easy to get around the facility. Overall I was very happy with my visit.
We toured Commonwealth senior living and it was a very nice facility. The reason we did not go with them was just because they did not have the unit that we were wanting available at the time.
We were looking for respite care, and they were right down the street from us. IT was for short term, which was fine. If it was long-term, I would not have put my mom there. I would have moved her. I feel like medications were their solution to late state dementia, basically sedate her as opposed to deal with the challenges. [Name removed] provided a very welcoming atmosphere here. She seemed to know names of all the many residents we saw along our tour. I liked the smaller overall size of the community though it still offers plenty of attractive amenities. We looked at a two bedroom independent living unit and a studio assisted living unit. Both were well-appointed and the independent living unit had a very functional layout.
I had the pleasure of touring CSL after the Wizard of Oz event and luncheon. This was my first time at this facility and I was very impressed by what I saw. The Staff was professional, friendly and accommodating. The food was great and plenty of opportunity for the residents to participate at whatever level they desired. I was able to see an Independent apartment, Assisted living room and Sweet memory room during my tour. I would recommend CSL at Williamsburg to a friend or family member.
Very nice facilities. Program director was a upbeat enthusiastic person who was captivating.
