What our family likes the most about the Commonwealth Senior Living community in Norfolk, VA is the staff, they are so friendly and they prepare really good quality meals along with good meal options.
We picked this community because, we iked the open concept of the facility, it was full of light and engaging movement family members could see our loved one from their room. it was an Inviting socialization atmosphere ... and our first visit with staff was super.

I really liked this community and it came in as a second choice for me as to where I could see my loved one being. However, for some reason my loved one did not feel the same.

This was our second choice for a community and our loved one is actually now moving to this community. My loved one needed more care and attention and this community was able to offer what all we needed.

The community has easy accessibility, communication is good when it comes to callbacks but they did have some issues with providing mail to us. The community is a great value. I would recommend this community to others.

excellent facility,very clean,spacious rooms,very friendly,diverse staff. reasonable prices, offered financial assistance,number 2 on our list,very comfortable enivronment.

Overall, great concept turning a motel into a senior living community. Rooms and activity rooms were sectioned off nicely. Dining area was really nice. Had various convenient stations for the community to use. Elevator for the 3 separate floors was available. Getting PT programs / person for the seniors.

All I can say is WOW!!! This place is AWESOME. My wife and I were very impressed with this facility and their employees. Their memory care program is exactly what we were looking for in a retirement place for my Father-in-Law. He will stay active and will be in a safe and caring environment. It is truly a relief to find a place where we feel confident and comfortable that he will be happy and taking care of.
