Mom has experienced long wait times to receive care. Under-staffed. Many have quit since mom arrived. The facility has been an ongoing issue of not having supplies. Selection and quality of meals is poor.

We are not satisfied with The Southerlands community because they told us we would have no problem qualifying my loved one for VA benefits to pay for it but might take a little while to get the money. We paid $3,000 for the month but did not stay the month because he ended up not qualifying for the VA benefits, they did not want to give any type of refund or anything. They would have known he didn’t qualify for the VA benefits if they just would have asked the right question which they did not do and instead just assumed it ... read more
