My mom and dad moved into Commonwealth at a very difficult time in their lives. My dad was being released from the hospital and would not be allowed to return home. They moved into a lovely apartment together in 2021, and enjoyed his last year of life together. He passed away in 2023, but my mom is still there and resides in the memory care unit. The care in the memory unit seems to be okay. We haven't had any issues and the staff is very nice back there. Mom seems to have a lot of opportunity to engage. They are certainly operating in the dark ages concerning technology and the business office. Need a report on how much has been paid this year, forget it. Issue with invoicing, good luck. Want to pay on-line. Nope. Send money that can be used for outings in any form other than dropping off cash, heck no. Good care, which is what matters. Convenient for the ... read more

In my 39 years of serving assisted living facilities as an elevator mechanic. I must say that CSL and one other facility are the best I have ever seen from management to retaining associates to the cleanliness inside and out. The care and love given to every resident is second to no other facility. Everyone I have met has always been nice and respectful. We celebrated a special friends Birthday. We truly enjoyed the atmosphere. Every employee seemed very friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful location and a clean facility.

I'm so glad my husband, who has Alzheimer's, resides here in memory care now. The best thing about it is the wonderful staff who care for him. They are professional, kind and fun.They provide for all his health and safety needs. The activities and socializing with other residents make him smile again. It allows me to have quality time with him. The facility is clean, has amazing food and welcomes family and friends. I can't say enough of how Commonwealth has changed our lives to the better.
