Care: 5 out of 5. They do take good care of him Food: 4, but I'm picky. We had Thanksgiving dinner with him and the stuffing was Stovetop. So that's why the 4 and I get that that's unreasonable. You're not gonna get my home cooking in a group.setting. ?? Activities: Really can't say. Dad doesn't want to participate in anything and they encourage, but of course they can't force, so I just don't know. Positives: most of staff was helpful, it was safe Negative: communication among staff and also with family was inconsistent. Turn over in staff was a problem. We experienced medication issues. Mom has moved to another facility

I love the fact that they take them out for like museum trips, dinner or lunch just a country drive and the staff I find is very friendly. I would definitely recommend Commonwealth Senior Living.
We are so grateful for Commonwealth. They have amazing activities, great food, nice staff, and a clean facility. They really try hard to make life nice for their residents, with monthly events, arts and crafts, music, various church services, and field trips. No facility is perfect and we've had a couple of minor issues, but overall we cannot speak highly enough about them!
Very accessible to Nursing for questions.. very kind and helpful staff, a lot of activities. Beautiful front porch for them to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful mountain views. One downside is they are having trouble keeping a hairdresser, but they are always trying to rehire someone. I would highly recommend Commonwealth senior living in front Royal to anyone. I'm very satisfied with how my mother has been acclimated to her new situation and she is thriving and even doing much better than she was.

Commonwealth was incredible! We couldn't have asked for more amazing staff members. My dad had unique needs but they were so kind and gentle with him. They showed him so much respect and maintained his dignity until the end. And then, they hugged us as they cried with us. We knew he felt nothing but love the whole time he was there.

It was close to home. When we toured the facility it was so clean. The cost was much better than the others near us.
They have been so helpful with my loved one, I am very pleased with everything. My loved one is happy finally and they keep my loved one busy with activities. They call me with updates and important issues. It always smells clean and looks nice
The staff at Commonwealth was excellent - professional and caring. It was a difficult transition for my mom to move there, and I was impressed at how the staff helped her with this. They allowed her to retain as much independence as she could manage, and they were always nearby to help her when she needed it.
