RecommendedThis place is a well-polished gem with no rough edges from ample parking to room details, surroundings, staff efficiency and sumptuous breakfast. I wish we stayed longer.
What a lovely small property in Calistoga. We checked in around 1 pm and they were totally ready for us. Then walked to downtown Calistoga to enjoy the afternoon, and drove to Clos Pegasse for some winetasting among the vines in the afternoon sun. The Bergson is all ambiance, including a water feature in the room to lull sleep and bring focus away from road noise and the Calistoga Raceway which was in full throttle till 10 pm.
Recommendedwent with 2 girlfriends for a fun friends getaway weekend. we had a downstairs room, which was cool cuz it had a private patio. however, we could hear the guests in the room above walking around...(that's all we heard, if it had been a romantic situation i would have been a bit irked) note that there is a jacuzzi tub that would fit 2 ppl if staying as a couple, so that's cool, but as friends it's good to note that there is no door on the room with the shower/tub and the shower is a big glass window that can be seen by guests... read more
