Only thing good they had was the wild rose carnival every May long weekend, but now thats gone too!
Guess the security staff at Parkland Mall are against a local truck club fundraising for a good cause. This will be noted and we will be taking our fundraisers to another place. Been using the corner of the parking lot for years for fundraisers and now it's an issue.
Dirty, empty, a lot of creepy people, general feeling out being unsafe. Very ghetto. All the good shopping is on the South End.
They need to reduce the rents to attract more business. Still worth going to, but if more stores close down it will become less viable.
This mall had been one of my favourite places to stop when I'm in Red Deer. Lots of little cool one of a kind stores etc, not all big box stores. Today I stopped in for the first time since October and was extremely disappointed to see so many shops were closed down including my favourite store Black Sheep. Going to be honest, probably won't bother stopping in there again.
This used to be the better mall, but now there's absolutely nothing. Whoever owns this place needs to sell it bc you have no idea how to run this place at all. This mall is like a ghost town lmao
