The Inn at Morro Bay is located in a beautiful spot from which you can see and hear the ocean. The rooms are pretty basic and a little bit small, but for the money, it was a great deal. My only complaint is that there was no air conditioning. I know that traditionally it doesn't get hot enough at the central coast for ac, but the climate is changing and California is seeing mid 70s weather in January. The Inn gave a special rate to evacuees escaping from the Thomas fire which was much appreciated by us. Our handicapped room was lovely and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Five stars, for sure.
I’m still here. The rooms are neat and clean. The lobby staff is friendly too! If you’re in a rush though, avoid the restaurant. They are friendly for the most part but very slow and forgetful.
Veteran's Day Wknd 2017 - Although my husband would mini vacay in Morro Bay quite often as a child and later on in his adult years this was our first stay and visit at the Inn. We stayed in room 409 which was a ground level, corner, handicap room with a partial Bay View. The room is clean, and adequate with plenty of room in the bathroom. We have always loved Morro Bay. We were coming about once or twice a year. We always loved the walks on the beach and your great food. My husband of 50 years now has heart trouble and the money goes very fast for the medical costs, I pray that maybe some day again we will be able to just sit on the deck and enjoy the view.
