Deserves zero stars. Terrible place to work and live. The staff is extremely unprofessional. All they do is complain about other shifts and talk about each other. They are neglecting residents in memory care as well, sitting in briefs all day, and absolutely screaming at them. There are calendars in the bathrooms that keep track of bm’s and most of them still say June as in six months ago. Not all the staff is bad, mostly the green shirts. Do NOT let your loved one stay here. Send them to Farnham or Gloucester CH instead.

Our mother was in CSL at Kilmarnock for her final months of life. We could not be more happy with the empathy, care, cleanliness, and attentiveness of the staff. Her room was bright and she her own window where she could watch the turtles and hummingbirds come and go. The entire staff was amazing: even Jerry the chef would sit with our mom and keep her company once she became bed-bound! Regardless of their role, every single staff member acts like a caregiver. Very attentive and friendly staff. Knowledgeable and attractive staff who are very efficient and caring. New wall paint looks super and I know the new carpet will look wonderful! Wonderful activities for seniors here at Commonwealth. Arts and crafts, bingo, table pool/game, outside activities/field trips, and good food. Happy people work here!

My Father was placed in memory care at the Kilmarnock facility in December. It has been an absolute nightmare. The administrative staff level is a joke and unfortunately that greatly affected the care my Father (did not receive). We have transferred my Father to the Farnham facility and it is like a miracle the difference in care, communication, and how my Father responds. The staff was very friendly and kind. However, the carpets in my mother's residence are still stained and dirty even though we've asked to have them cleaned.
