There is no elevator at the Catalina Island Inn. Therefore, you are lugging your luggage up five flights of stairs to get the ocean view rooms. Tough for a senior. We asked the front desk for towels on two separate days - and they gave us nothing. We will never stay there again.
Warning! The rooms are falsely advertised on their website. The photos of the room we were promised were not at all like the accommodations we received. Very expensive rooms and not worth the money. We didn’t want to spend our very limited time on our short vacation looking for somewhere else to stay. Thankfully I traveled with my own Lysol spray and wipes to disinfect the room. I realize you consider it "standard practice" to charge someone for cancelling a room a month prior to the cancellation period, but this is pathetic. I won't be back.
Nice hotel close to everything no coffee in lobby until 8am was a challenge shower was very small staff was friendly
