We looked forward to our trip to Casa Velas so much, and it was such a disappointment. Had we known what we were facing for a week, we would have never gone. 1. The food was poor. They advertise no buffets, but there were buffets at breakfast and lunch. The food was poorly prepared, and normally not hot when served. We had multiple meals that were room temperature.
