The room that we had was a nice large room very clean, super quiet area with laundry on each floor just down the hall, which was good to have if you need it when your traveling.The hotel staff was very friendly. They have a big sweet dog in the hotel lobby and nice gift shop they as well.The hunted hotel tour was different to try out for sure and fun for the kids to go check out the basement and learn more history about the building at the same time. the pool was a great spot. It disheartens me to express my disappointment with the level of service I recently experienced at the Algonquin Resort. While the amenities themselves were satisfactory, the service fell well below the standard one would expect from such a historic and reputable establishment. Staff seemed poorly trained and unable to fulfill basic service requests. Absolutely stunning resort/ hotel. Roomas are spacious and very comfortable. Views are beautiful. Super close to the sea- just a short walk away. Staff is very pleasant and accommodating. They try hard to make your stay pleasant and great. It’s a dog friendly resort which is wonderful. But unfortunately no dogs are allowed in the restaurants and pub. I know it’s a NB law but I wish they had sections that do allow dogs to join their families for dinner. The pools are great. Grounds are wonderful. There are activities all day ... read more
