For a 4 stars hotel, this place sucks. The building is old, furniture looks like it's been there for decades, elevator buttons need to be clicked 5 times to register, hallways extremely narrow. The only good thing about this hotel is the location in chinatown but it seems they have relied on this fact and decided to neglect maintenance and service quality. I've been to better 3 starts hotels. Not worth the cost at all. Never booking the Wyndham again.

Well, well, what can I say about this hotel… Let’s start with the positives: the beds were comfortable — and that’s about it. If this is meant to be a four-star hotel, it’s hard to believe. On arrival, you’re faced with a large staircase, which is a real hassle when you have big suitcases. To make things more awkward, the hotel shares its entrance with a sports bar. At one point, there was even a homeless man sitting on the steps, watching into the bar. Check-in wasn’t much better. We were greeted by a lady called Abi, wh... read more

4/29/25 morning 9am, I had bathroom emergency and couldn’t access the bathroom. I very respectfully with a please and soft tone asked the front desk(chubby black hair fair skin with suit on), for the key to the bathroom and he told me there is no such thing as a key to the bathroom, that I can go to the park for it. I was obviously fretting and said it’s emergency and try to state if I can buy something, and he cut in and said, he am very busy and he can’t help me and ignored me. I won’t rate a low rating because of one ba... read more

Room amenities mediocre at best, e.g. the coffee machine had a hole in it, the sink was way too small so the water kept spilling out of it. The balcony door didn't close properly allowing rain to pour in. I highly recommend locking all your stuff in the hotel safe because sometimes things "magically" disappear. When you try to get your missing stuff back you will find that the front desk staff has zero interest in helping you find it.

Great value. Good location in Chinatown. Close to subway. Compact room, but comfortable especially since I was alone. I was on the 11th floor with a great view of the Empire State Building. Was quieter than I expected. Nice breakfast was included. Staff was helpful. I'd stay here again.
