Small hiccup at check-in, room wasn’t ready. But once we got in the place was great. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Always smiling, always helpful. The cleaning staff made sure our room was perfect. The breakfast was great; Eggs, Sausage, Bagels , Donuts, Waffles!!! Coffee was hot and juices were perfect. The location was amazing, a bunch of nearby fast food chains, you could walk to Taco Bell or KFC, short drive to Chick-Fil-A & WayBack Burgers. We had some issues but front desk was able to take care of them. Room can use updating. Caulking around toilets should be removed and replaced, Sheetrock repairs should be done properly and not so patchy and rough. Door locking mechanisms should be checked to make sure they don’t lock when the door shuts a little hard. TV’s should match throughout all rooms.
Very good value for money hotel. Very polite staff, all with a smile and willing to help with anything you need. Adequate cleanliness. A bit outside the city of Orlando, but traveling by Uber wasn't too expensive if you want to visit the city. Also, the free parking is a plus as we needed to rent a car for our transportation. Wyndham Wingate near Universal Easily found. Several casual dining places within walking distance. Convenience store and supermarket nearby. The room is setup with a microwave, a coffee maker and a decent size refrigerator. The desk and couch area are in the middle then you have King Bed, and dresser. The bathroom wasn’t huge but was just enough for 1 person at a time and had a bathtub. This place is ideal for several days or several weeks. Stayed at Wingate by Wyndham near Universal Studios and had a great experience! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location just minutes from Universal Orlando Resort. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and rooms were clean. Our only problem we encountered was that the man working the night shift at the front check in office was rude and short with us every time we asked a question about something, he looked like he just woke up and didn’t want to help anyone in our opinion.
