Edison Hotel: very good service but not a four star hotel. The room was clean but damaged. The water was brown sometimes and there wasn’t any furniture in the room. We purchased a shuttle to and from the airport directly from the website only to discover when we arrived that the hotel shuttle service was discontinued. The bathroom desperately needed an upgrade, no towel bar, the toilet seat was not attached and the bathtub was peeling.
The Edison Hotel: 1 minute walk to Times Square. You can enter the hotel from 47th or 46th streets. Surprisingly not loud being so close to TS. Our room was located just across from the elevator, again, not loud. Bed was comfortable, shower pressure was great with lots of hot water. Our Room had a current feel and look to it. They can store your luggage for a dollar a bag. Security checking hotel keys before entering elevator access. Also, elevators will not operate until you scan your room key.
