Overall pleasant experience with this hotel. I would recommend staying there, especially to experience downtown Bristol. James at the front desk took great care of me with exceptional costumer service. Great rooftop bar and good BBQ restaurant in an adjacent building. Will definitely stay there again!
My wife and I stayed here for one night. We selected this hotel as it was on our way to Asheville. This is by far the best Tribute Marriott hotel we have stayed at. We were greeted by James during our check-in, and he was very friendly and gave us some recommendations. The rooms were very clean, and spacious. The hotel is located in Virgina, but you can cross into Bristol, TN by walking across the street. The town has several bars and restaurants, but many of them do close early (9-10 PM). Where Does One Start A Review When Everything Exceeds Your Expectations? Let me start with the “welcome”! We met James when we first entered the lobby. It was the warmest welcome from a front desk ever! James was full of information and even told us about a local bakery. I’m a bit of a hotel snob — spotless room, comfy bed, and a great shower are non-negotiable. This place nailed all of it. The front desk staff were so kind, the grounds are adorable, and my husband was impressed by the lobby coffee. Truly a 10/10. I wish we’d stayed longer—and remembered to take photos—but this was a quick overnight stop on our road trip. Highly recommend.
Perfect location to downtown; really nice rooms with your own turntable (you can borrow records from the lo by); great service. Rooftop bar has music sometimes. Just an overall great choice for walking around Bristol
