My stay here was good overall. I liked how close it was to downtown, easy walking distance, and that it was right on the river. There were multiple swings that you could enjoy the scenery and relax, though I do wish they sat a bit higher as most were very low to the ground. The ice maker in the walkway didn't seem to work during our stay, though there was construction going on so I'll chalk it up to coincidence. Great value for the price & location. Rooms are clean & updated. Bed is a little firm, but it’s fine. There’s a microwave & fridge in room. Hotel offers coffee/muffins/cereals in morning in lobby ( even frozen breakfast sandwiches although I wish there was a gluten free option) The exterior is going through a renovation which is needed-yes it’s dated, but it’s clean and to me that’s what matters. Riverbend is in a great location. Was able to park the car at the hotel and walk. Was clean and quiet. They had a free breakfast which was nice. It was juice, bagels, cereal, protein bars, muffins & fruit. The hotel kept coffee, hot chocolate & tea in the lobby. Had swings at the creek. When we come back, we'll be staying here.

I chose this hotel for its riverfront location, and thoroughly enjoyed being by the Chattahoochee. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful during my one-night stay, which immediately made me feel welcome. Note that guests must be able to climb stairs unless staying on the first floor, where there is a ramp option from the parking lot. Was very impressed with the updated rooms. Staff was fantastic. Construction was going on because it was slow season but they were very respectful and weren’t too bad. Love that they allowed the pup. Only complaint was scratchy towels and lackluster shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Will be back. Probably with our own toiletries.
