I loved this place! I initially came because they had a fireplace in the cabins...well the propane was out and the fireplaces weren't operational but the huge bathtub was and that was happiness. Bathing products provided are of great quality! Cute little kitchen in the cabin and full size fridge so I got to cook for myself. Big double doors open to the lovely riverfront landscape. We had an awesome time! Cabin number 6 was perfect for our family of 5! Laurie at the front desk was so kind and hospitable! She gave us great food recs and a covered bridge rec! The location is amazing. You can watch the tubers go by! We love Helen and we loved the riverbend hotel and cabins. We will be back!
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Riverbend Cabins. Quiet and quaint, with enough space to have some respectful fun of our own. Cabins are beautiful and well-equipped for friends and family. Excellent location and walkability. Pet friendly as well. Truly can't wait to return for another stay.
The location of the hotel is great. It is right on the river and right downtown. It is an easy walk to Main St. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. The AC/Heating unit was a little noisy. The hotel has a basic continental breakfast, nothing special. The staff was very friendly. The nightly rate seemed reasonable for this time of year. I would stay there again and recommend this hotel.
We had such a great time in Helen, GA. We couldn't of asked for a better hotel than riverbend. We was walking distance from the shops along the street, but our favorite part was the swings along the water and making memories skipping rocks. We would definitely stay here again. The staff was very friendly and nice as well.
