Was upgraded to junior suite-very nice room came with welcome amenity. Service from everyone was top notch. Full felt like RC service. Got spa treatment this was very much top notch. Was a little weird outdoor part of men’s spa was basically on a resort walkway providing almost zero privacy. Meals at hotel were very good, also the price you’d expect at high end Aruba resort. Chef Kaina at The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba is absolutely phenomenal. After spending the morning fishing on a private charter, we brought our fresh catch back to share with family and friends—and Chef Kaina transformed it into an unforgettable feast. Every dish was seasoned to absolute perfection and prepared with such care and expertise. My husband and I stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Aruba with our toddler son November 14th through the 21st. We had an amazing time. From the minute we stepped into the lobby we were greeted with drinks, a gift for my son and a room key. The hotel is not brand new but is kept immaculate. The white walls are completely clean and any scuff is promptly cleaned. When we needed extra towels, a quick phone call was made and they arrived to our room within a few minutes. I can't say anything bad for the hotel itself. It is actually great - exceptionally clean, exceptionally well-maintained, everything works as expected and the hotel delivers the world renounced Ritz experience. Unfortunately, it is not perfect, nor ideal, which made me give it a 4 star overall rating and not 5. There are some minor issues, some cheap tricks played, which puts the hotel one step below other properties in this category. Top shelf Aruba experience at the ritz. Quieter than the Marriott next door. Rooms are appointed nicely. Entrance and bar area much more elegant. Marriott has a better party atmosphere and the casino is lively. Not so much at the ritz. Both casinos are well ventilated i didn’t see anyone allowed to smoke which i prefer.
