We were so fortunate to find this charming restaurant. I was looking for an upscale restaurant just a little away from the very vibrant street down on the harbor. We found it! The location is a little bit unusual, not being on commercial Street in Provincetown… But it sits with a gorgeous view of the lit Pilgrim monument. A Victorian Inn with fireplaces and beautiful furnishings… The restaurant provides interior seating in a cozy Victorian dining room and closed porch seating all glass with beautiful views and a large outdoor patio with beautiful flowers and fireplaces. Took a chance on Thanksgiving dinner here and was DELIGHTED! 4 courses, perfectly timed, not rushed at all. The food was delicious, our server Christian was lovely and the experience overall exceeded expectations. And who doesn’t love roses in bloom in November in the northeast? :) Can’t wait to come back in summer and try it again with their regular menu.
We showed up for a reservation on a Saturday night at 7 and there was only 1 other table seated, it seemed odd but we soon understood why. Attempted to order wine and were told the first 3 we picked were all sold out but only after the waiter left the table after each request to see if there was any left. Our meals were ordered medium but came out well done. Had not been here in years and remembered it being packed and the food and service good. Things have changed and not for the better.
If you want a romantic, upscale dinner this is your stop. Every course of the meal surpassed our expectations without fail. The Brussels sprouts appetizer were fabulous, and my partner and I both ordered the Cod. I cannot emphasize enough how good the Cod was!! Everything was so flavorful and cooked to perfection.
