The Inn is a great location for the conference that I attended there. The checking was fast. I had a 2 bed room, which was large for just a single person. The room is a little dated, especially the bathroom with the shower in the bath. It was comfortable and quiet. I didn’t have time to use any of the other facilities. The hotel and conference center are located in a green area, and the gardens were very nice in spring time.

We had such a wonderful experience at the Inn. We celebrated our anniversary and the staff made it so special by upgrading us to a bigger room. We also received a personal note wishing us a Happy Anniversary from the front desk and a personal note from Candy that cleaned our room. The room was beautiful and immaculate. My top-tier chum and I came down to Blacksburg because she wanted to visit her old campus for the first time since she graduated about 25 years ago (yes, we are ancient and whatnot). One of the first decisions we made on this trip (and she made it) was where we would stay in Blacksburg, and my chum insisted on coming here so that we were actually on campus and she could test out The Inn, which wasn't here during her time. I attended a conference in the Skelton Center and stayed at the hotel. Great meeting room with above average food. My room was comfortable and clean. A non foam pillow would have been nice. They have a nice bar and social area.

Great location. The new restaurant bar “The Loyal” is great. Chris is a great bartender. Food is really good. The Picanah steak is REALLY good. Get the collard greens. Smash burger is great. Good beer selection. Breakfast is really good and the omelette bar on the weekend is stellar. Tanya is really friendly. Staff is friendly period. Did I say fresh cut flowers everywhere. That is a really nice touch. Rooms are ok but the are redoing the whole thing. New patio coming. A+++++++. New rooms would put it at a premium level... read more
