When we arrived after a long travel day from the east coast, we checked in at the front desk and went to bed early because we were exhausted. At 12:30 AM we were startled awake hearing other guests repeatedly trying to open our door. We then got two calls from the front desk saying they showed our room was vacant and asking us questions about why we were in the room (that they assigned us/gave us keys for). Although it is located on Hollywood Boulevard, which is always crowded with tourists, the inside of the hotel has a completely different atmosphere from the outside, and has a charming historic atmosphere that would have made Marilyn Monroe fall in love. My partner and I booked a cabana balcony room to celebrate our honeymoon (which we told the staff via the portal which specifically requests to know if celebrating a special occasion). When we arrived to check in, we were told that the card used for booking was a card ending in numbers that did not match the actual card we used for the booking (per the confirmation email and the bank statements). Exceptional lodging in the heart of of Hollywood! I cannot say enough good things about this hotel from the staff to the amenities. Everyone from the valet professionals to the front desk professionals to the housing professionals are consummate professionals! I also enjoyed the restaurants on site and the SEVERAL options for entertainment. I highly recommend and would gladly stay here again. Thanks, Hollywood Roosevelt for going above and beyond and making me feel very welcomed! I appreciate you all so much!

We stayed one night at The Hollywood Roosevelt and were unfortunately disappointed overall, as our stay did not meet our expectations, especially considering the high price. The bathroom was not clean upon arrival, and the room itself was very sparsely furnished. Unfortunately, neither slippers nor a second bathrobe were provided. The hairdryer was also in a rather poor condition.
