I had an amazing stay at The Hollywood Roosevelt! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Hollywood, just steps away from the Walk of Fame and TCL Chinese Theatre. The hotel has a classic charm mixed with modern comfort. The pool area is absolutely stunning, a perfect place to relax under the California sun. The staff was professional and very welcoming. My room was clean, stylish, and had a great view. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting LA!
Incredible hotel. So much charm and style. Perfect location to explore Hollywood, and feel like you’re steeped in Old Hollywood. Unfortunately I didn’t get to take in one of the shows in the in-hotel theatre, but they have regularly scheduled movies and a cabaret show available as well. Well-stocked minibar is a big plus. We stayed in room #702.
Absolutely unacceptable behavior from the hotel staff. My checkout time was 12:00 PM. I was running a little late and planned to extend my stay or check out shortly. At 12:47 PM, a male staff member entered my room without knocking, without calling, without any warning — while I was completely naked in bed. I was shocked and told him to get out. The room was nice, but I would not recommend this hotel for serveral reasons. First we chose to stay at this hotel for the location, amenities and the pool and except for the location we were met with disappointment after disappointment. We were on the 10th floor and the difficulties we experienced with only one working elevator made leaving and reentering the hotel a major obstacle. We saw no less than three cockroaches during our two day stay here. One in our shower. Toilet will not flush and flooded, sink water pressure is 100/10. In addition, there is zero noise insulation and you can hear everything and everyone outside the door. Unfortunately rooms 101 and 102 are right by a main entrance and this made our vacation horrible and unable to sleep. Tried earplugs, earbuds, nothing worked.
