We walked in without a reservation and we're happy to see two seats open at the bar. We had their charcuterie plate as well as duck and salmon. Everything was exceptional! So happy to see nicer restaurants here in Gatlinburg. Such a nice change from the touristy places around. The place was cozy overlooking the river. The bartenders took great care of us!
Perfect spot for a date night, definitely the best food we ate on our entire trip to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. The wild boar croquettes were phenomenal. The venison melts in your mouth, and the salmon was cooked to perfection. Our waitress had great recommendations and she was very attentive and made us feel right at home! The ambiance was very cozy and intimate, you really can’t go wrong by going here for a meal!
We stayed at the Old Motor Inn next door and received breakfast here with our stay. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. Everything was spotless, and everyone we interacted with was amazing each day. The breakfasts were fantastic — we ate here three mornings in a row, and every meal was consistently great. They’re also dog friendly, with an outdoor patio and a beautiful view of the river, which was a big plus for us. Such a pleasant experience and great food! It has been a while since a waiter asked me to cut my street making sure it cooked right… well at The Heirloom Room they did! The food was great, service excellent! We truly enjoyed! Highly recommend for a sweet date or family dinner in Gatlinburg!
Dining at The Heirloom Room is a very different experience in the best way. It feels more like you're visiting your rich, slightly eccentric Uncle who invites you to sample his bourbon collection while you smoke cigars on the front porch. As soon as you walk in, it is cozy and welcoming. My husband and I got the wild board croquettes (there were 5, but we were so hungry we ate 2 before taking the pic lol), and we both got the venison and potatoes as our entrée.
