The drinks were decent, and the appetizer really stood out. The shrimp and crab roll was definitely the highlight, but unfortunately the rest of the entrees didn’t quite live up to expectations. Overall, we left feeling unsure about the place—it has potential, but there’s room for improvement.
Our 2nd time here in a month. This could be a gold mine of they cared about locals. It's a beautiful bar/restaurant indoor outdoor space. But the staff isn't friendly, say NO too much, don't ask how you are doing (ok other than Roger). The bar is limited. They could pack happy hour if they thought about a small plate and drink program locals would love.
Expensive and they were out of most of the local craft beers. Despite being a "nice" place they still gave me my beer in a plastic cup as if I were at a baseball game. I went to sit outside and the seats had no cushions. And Luis is a terrible bartender. No Thank You No Nothing. All he said was "I'm not done with that" when I grabbed my credit card.
My wife had a Real estate exam in Oakland so we decided to stay at the double tree next to the boathouse. My son and I attended breakfast as we recieved complimentary vouchers from the hotel and boy we were no dissapointed. For one the view is gorgeous and the atmosphere in great. We ordered to go to take back to the room but the staff was super friendly and got us in and out pretty quickly. I got a good look at the venue and this would be a great spot for dinner. Can't wait to come back next month !
My husband and I had difficulty finding the restaurant, but when we finally located the place, Roger, or waiter made us feel so special! He greeted us with warmth, smiles and genuine friendliness! His help to order just what we wanted was wonderful! The salmon was very good and the clam chowder was delicious, with lots of clams.The Brussels sprouts were the best we’ve ever had! Then, the fruit cobbler was made to order! The ambience and view were spectacular! We look forward to returning soon!
