The Berkeley Boathouse is one of the Bay Areas hidden gems. Beautiful atmosphere. Wonderful staff. Customer service was a 10 out of 10. Short wait time for seating. Everything we ordered, including the drinks, came out in a timely manner and tasted great.

I had the Christmas eve dinner. There was no wine pairing, but the lamb chops were tender and juicy. I had a flight with my dinner of which the pour is very generous. They also made me a special apple cider cocktail.
Dined here while staying at the adjoining hotel. The location and ambiance are spectacular. Great view of the marina from any table in the restaurant, as well as a large outdoor patio. They also have a nice bar area that would be great for socializing. A strange thing happened with our server, who had a spell of dizziness and lost her balance. Good meal and service but was quite expensive for the amount of food I received. Make sure to plan to be there for 2 hours as it took quite a bit of time to receive each item. And the background music was a bit loud and weird.
