Beautiful hotel, it's quiet, clean and safe. I went on a last minute girls trip to El Valle, and glad we found this hotel. We felt safe as there is a guard at the gate. The room was spacious, clean, but did not have drinking water available in the room, no coffee maker or mini fridge. Good thing we picked up water bottles before going in because there's no stores near by, it's like in the middle of nowhere., My advice, pack with drinking water and everything else you might need as the hotel doesn't provide for it. My wife and I just got home from celebrating our one year anniversary in Valle de Guadalupe, and we chose to stay at Surya. With so many great hotel options in the area, we were a bit overwhelmed when trying to decide where to stay. This particular hotel looked great and had great reviews, so we gave it a shot. We went down for a quick girls trip for a couple of days. Horacio and the entire staff there were INCREDIBLE. Horacio walked us right up to our room, opened the door and everything, all while telling us about the area and the property itself. Everything we ate was immaculate. All of the wine was absolutely incredible. We wanted to stay longer, but reality was calling. It felt so secluded and private being tucked away off the road. I stayed for 1 night I was lost cause directions took you somewhere else about 15 min away on google maps. So I called the office they were very helpful and whatapp me to send exact location. I purchased a hat that I really liked with the name Surya on it from the lobby. I liked the rooms they were nice and modern. Our room was okay being that it faced the highway there was not a lot of traffic but a little. Was overall very close to where we parked our car so easy to unload our things. The room was beautiful. Fantastic aesthetics, outdoor areas were beautiful, rustic and clean. Pool was beautiful. The rooms did lack some "nice to haves". A mini fridge would have been awesome. The water from our shower didn't drain towards the drain completely leaving us with a wet rug. The toilet was in its own little room with no ventilation. This may be room dependant. But it was beautiful and totally worth it.
