Everything about this property is a positive. For being located in Monterey, you can't beat the price. Rooms are clean, service was great. Located just a couple miles away from the Old Fisherman's Wharf, a historic landmark and a popular tourist destination known for its seafood restaurants, gift shops, whale watching excursions, and scenic ocean views. Also close to Pebble Beach Golf Course.
The rooms are in good shape. Parking is free. The man and woman working the front desk are great. Cash price per night was too expensive for a bare bones motel.
Super 8 exceeded my expectations! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, and the location was convenient. Great value for the price, with amenities like free Wi-Fi and breakfast. Perfect for a budget-friendly and comfortable stay. Would definitely stay again!
It was OK, we were there over a weekend. Office staff very helpful and friendly. But the electric (& USB) outlets on the bedstand lamp didn’t work. When asking for a replacement lamp, we were told there were none. For something that is in use constantly by travelers, there should be backups. The walls are thin; both nights we were bothered by the tv next door. Also there was NO ICE the Monday morning we left. The location and cleanliness is good. Dennys is across the street. Just know that the rooms are a bit smaller and no microwave in the room. The air conditioner was working but was old and not heating unless we increased temp to very high. This wasn’t an issue as temperatures were not extreme in March but might be something to note for winter or summer. It was a good value when we travelled just before spring break.
