Great experience! The front desk was kind enough to offer us a free upgrade, and the room was spacious and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to see two fridges in the room, including a large household-sized one. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

This place was cozy, comfortable and very clean. The perfect stay and a great price - less than 20 min away from Avenue of the Giants, less than 15 min from historic Ferndale and less than 40 min from Eureka. Among small towns this was a larger city filled with the comforts of multiple groceries stores, pharmacies, restaurants and coffee shops. The motel is across the street from Eel Brewery, the first organic brewery with friendly people and beautiful patio and a 5 min walk to the river walk for a Mormon stroll. The room... read more

Great price, great room. Clean, comfy beds. Very nice decor, newer bathroom. No carpets on floor making it great for allergy sufferers. Checked in at midnight without reservations. Very nice front desk person.

Very clean and well maintained. The parking lot was even clean. Exceeded my expectations. No elevator. Breakfast area was small, but adequate. Easy access to highway. Located near the riverwalk.

For Cali the price wasn't bad. Clean, quiet , pretty free of riff Raff around. I visit Fortuna often to see my gbabies. I'll stay here again if the price remains doable. Solid B+
